SankalpTaru Foundation’s application HUGE appreciates your interest in the application. SankalpTaru Foundation is a nonprofit organization that has developed the platform “HUGE” to seamlessly empower individuals to prioritize their health while concurrently fostering environmental sustainability through tree planting initiatives. HUGE also simplifies the process of receiving donations through its engaging application features.

HUGE stands for Healthy Us through Greening Environment (“HUGE”). Please remember that your use of this application, or your acceptance of the Privacy Policy in any other manner, means that you have agreed to abide by our Privacy Policy. HUGE integrates the health data you provide, enabling you to monitor your health data while also supporting green environment efforts. You have full control over the data stored within the app, as well as the ability to choose which data is shared with trusted third-party applications and individuals.

You retain authority over the selection and utilization of app functionalities including Challenges, Campaigns, Greens, Offset, E-certificate on achievements, and Volunteering for Individuals and Corporations (which we collectively refer to in this Privacy Policy as the “Services”). We may derive anonymized or de-identified data from Personal Data by removing components (such as your name, email address, or linkable tracking ID) that would identify you personally, whether through obfuscation or other methods. The use of anonymized and de-identified data is not governed by this Privacy Policy.

We collect Personal Data when you use or interact with our Services, including when you register for a HUGE account through Gmail, Apple ID, or SNS, or otherwise use the Services (e.g., browse the content available on the Services), and when you ask us to customize our Services.

When you provide access to your mobile device for syncing Fitness and Wellness Data, we obtain the following information:

It’s up to you what permissions you allow but the following are required for proper functioning to provide the services:

i. READ & WRITE Steps

iv. READ & WRITE Height

2.2.2. On Android devices

HUGE asks for the following permissions all are required and without them, the app won’t function properly:

i. FITNESS_ACTIVITY_READ: Use Google Fit to see and store users’ physical activity data. Used for step counting.

ii. FITNESS_BODY_READ: See info about the user’s body measurements and heart rate. User for reading height and weight. The HUGE internally DOES NOT collect heart rate.

iii. FITNESS_BODY_WRITE: See and add info about your body measurements and heart rate to Google Fit. User for updating height and weight. The HUGE DOES NOT update heart rate.

2.3. When you use or interact with a wearable or other connected device

We do not directly collect Personal Data, including Fitness and Wellness Data when you use a device that is connected to the Internet, activity trackers, and other devices or wearables that integrate with the Services instead indirectly with the device app i.e. Apple Health and Google Fit.

Note on Apple HealthKit Data

You have the option to connect and share your information with Apple HealthKit, and subsequently share your HealthKit information with HUGE. Any data you provide to HealthKit is subject to Apple’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. HUGE does not use the unique information you choose to share from HealthKit for marketing or advertising purposes, nor does HUGE transfer this information to third parties for marketing or advertising.

Note on Google Fit

You have the option to connect and share your information with Google Fit, and subsequently share your Google Fit information with HUGE. The utilization of information received from Google Fit will comply with the Google Fit Permissions Policy, which includes adherence to Limited Use requirements and User Data Policy.

2.4. When you participate in special activities, offers, challenges, campaigns, or programs for research

We may request or collect Personal Data, including Fitness and Wellness Data such as name, address, email address, phone number, age, and other relevant information necessary for participation in the Research.

2.5. When you access third-party services

We may facilitate your registration and payment processes through third-party gateways (collectively referred to as ‘Third Party Sites’) via our Services. During these interactions, we do not collect Personal Data that you share with Third Party Sites through our Services. Before sharing any information on third-party sites through HUGE, please carefully review their respective Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. HUGE does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services linked to or from HUGE. You have the option to enable, login, or sign on to the Services through social media platforms like Facebook (referred to as a ‘Social Networking Service’ or ‘SNS’). When you connect using your SNS account, we may collect the Personal Data that you have provided to that SNS. For instance, if you log in using your Facebook credentials and grant consent, we may collect Personal Data from your Facebook profile as permitted under Facebook’s Terms of Service, such as your email address and date of birth.
